Bank statement to CSV

Convert a statement PDF into a CSV your accounting software will actually accept — ISO dates, a signed amount column, UTF-8 encoding — with the whole conversion running privately inside your browser.

Drop your PDF bank statement here

Up to 24 statements at once. Nothing is uploaded — the PDF is read inside this tab.

Never uploaded

Your statement is opened by this page, not by a server. No account, no retention, no third party ever sees a transaction.

Balance reconciled

We re-add every row against the running balance printed on the statement and flag any line that does not agree.

Free, no page limits

Twelve months of statements in one go, exported as one sheet. No credits, no watermark, no paywall at page five.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop in the statement

The PDF is parsed locally. No upload, no sign-up, no per-statement charge.

  2. 2

    Pick the accounting layout

Switch the export layout to Date, Description and a single signed Amount — negative for money out, positive for money in.

  3. 3

    Reconcile before you import

The banner shows whether the extracted rows add back up to the closing balance, so you catch a bad row before it reaches your books.

  4. 4

    Download the CSV

UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, so accented payee names survive the trip into Excel and every accounting package.

Common questions

Which CSV layout does QuickBooks or Xero need?

Both accept a three-column CSV of date, description and a single signed amount, where withdrawals are negative. That is exactly what the accounting export produces here. Xero also accepts separate debit and credit columns — use the standard layout for that, which additionally keeps the running balance.

What date format is written to the CSV?

ISO format, YYYY-MM-DD, whenever the year could be determined. It sorts correctly in every spreadsheet and is unambiguous for import mapping, unlike 03/04/2024, which means two different days depending on which side of the Atlantic wrote it.

Do accented or non-Latin payee names survive?

Yes. The file is UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, which is the combination Excel needs in order not to garble names on a double-click open.

Can I merge several months into one CSV?

Yes — add every statement PDF at once and they extract into a single table in the order selected, which you can then export as one CSV for a full-year import.

Why does a row show as flagged?

A flag means that row's amount does not match the movement in the printed running balance beside it. Usually the description wrapped across lines and swallowed a figure. Correct or delete the row and the flag clears.
