Your statement never leaves this device

Bank statement PDF to Excel, free and private

Turn any PDF bank statement into a clean transaction table — date, description, money out, money in, balance — and export it to Excel or CSV. Every other converter for this asks you to upload your financial history to their servers. This one reads the file inside your own browser and checks the arithmetic against your printed balance.

Drop your PDF bank statement here

Up to 24 statements at once. Nothing is uploaded — the PDF is read inside this tab.

Never uploaded

Your statement is opened by this page, not by a server. No account, no retention, no third party ever sees a transaction.

Balance reconciled

We re-add every row against the running balance printed on the statement and flag any line that does not agree.

Free, no page limits

Twelve months of statements in one go, exported as one sheet. No credits, no watermark, no paywall at page five.

Guides for specific banks

Every bank lays a statement out differently. These pages cover where to find the PDF and what to expect from each layout.

How it works

  1. 1

Download the PDF from your bank

Any statement your bank or accounting app produces works — internet banking, the mobile app, or an emailed copy you have already opened.

  2. 2

    Drop it on this page

The file is read by this tab using your own processor. It is not sent anywhere, and closing the tab erases it from memory.

  3. 3

    Check the reconciliation

Every row is re-added against the running balance printed on your statement. A green badge means the extraction is exact; flagged rows tell you precisely where to look.

  4. 4

    Fix anything, then export

Tap a description to correct it or delete a stray row, then save as Excel, CSV, or an accounting-ready file with a single signed amount column.

Common questions

Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?

No, and this is the whole point of the tool. The PDF is opened by JavaScript running inside this page, using the same engine your browser uses to display PDFs. No copy is transmitted, nothing is stored, there is no account and no server-side queue. You can verify this by opening your browser's network tab, or by disconnecting from the internet after the page has loaded — the conversion still works.

How is this different from the paid statement converters?

Most of them require you to upload your full financial history to their servers, cap you at a handful of pages, then charge per statement. This runs on your device, has no page cap, costs nothing, and additionally reconciles the extracted rows against the printed running balance so you can tell at a glance whether the numbers are trustworthy.

What if my statement is a scan or a photo?

If the PDF has no text layer — typical of statements scanned at a branch — the page automatically switches to on-device OCR to read the pages, then applies the same column detection. Scanned results are less exact, so review the table before exporting.

Can I convert a whole year at once?

Yes. Drop up to 24 statement PDFs together and they merge into a single continuous sheet in the order you selected them, which is what accountants and loan applications usually want.

My statement is password protected. What do I do?

Open it in any PDF reader with the password, then re-save or print it to a new PDF without the password, and use that copy here. Banks typically use your date of birth or account number as the password.

Will this work with my accounting software?

Choose the accounting export layout and you get Date, Description and a single signed Amount column — the shape QuickBooks, Xero, Wave and most bookkeeping tools expect for a CSV bank import.
