Spreadsheet-ready, on your device
Bank statement to Excel
Drop a statement PDF and get a proper XLSX workbook with date, description, money out, money in and balance as real typed columns. The conversion runs in this tab, so the statement never touches a server.
Drop your PDF bank statement here
Up to 24 statements at once. Nothing is uploaded — the PDF is read inside this tab.
Never uploaded
Your statement is opened by this page, not by a server. No account, no retention, no third party ever sees a transaction.
Balance reconciled
We re-add every row against the running balance printed on the statement and flag any line that does not agree.
Free, no page limits
Twelve months of statements in one go, exported as one sheet. No credits, no watermark, no paywall at page five.
How it works
- 1
Add the statement PDFs
One month or a whole year. Multiple files merge into one continuous worksheet in the order you pick them.
- 2
Confirm the date format
Leave it on automatic for most statements. Switch to day/month or month/day if a period spans a year boundary and the guess looks off.
- 3
Read the reconciliation banner
It compares the opening balance plus every credit minus every debit against the closing balance printed on the statement.
- 4
Save as .xlsx
You get a real Excel workbook with typed number columns — ready for SUMIF, pivot tables and filters, not a CSV that Excel mangles on open.
Common questions
Do I get a real Excel file or a CSV renamed to .xlsx?
A genuine XLSX workbook. Amounts are written as numbers, not text, so totals, pivot tables and conditional formatting work immediately without a text-to-columns dance.
Will the debit and credit columns come out the right way round?
The converter reads the x-position of every amount on the page, so a two-column layout is separated by where the number physically sits rather than by guesswork. When the statement has a running balance, each row is also cross-checked against the balance movement — and if a bank prints amounts unsigned in one column, a single click flips money in and money out.
How many pages can I convert?
There is no limit. The work happens on your own processor, so there is no server cost to ration and no upsell at page five. A 60-page statement takes a few seconds.
Can I edit the rows before exporting?
Yes. Descriptions are editable in place and any row can be deleted, which is useful for stripping page headers or promotional lines that some banks print inside the transaction table.
Is an Excel export safe for a loan or visa application?
Always send the original PDF as the authoritative document and treat the spreadsheet as a working copy for analysis or bookkeeping. Because the extraction is reconciled against the printed balance, you can be confident the working copy matches the original.
