Camera scanner, on your device
Scan any document, straight to PDF
Point your camera at a page and the browser finds its edges, straightens it, cleans the shadows off and stacks it into a searchable PDF — all on your own hardware, with no app and nothing uploaded.
Why scan here
Nothing leaves the phone
Contracts, IDs and receipts are processed in the tab — no upload, no account.
GPU page detection
Edges are found on your graphics chip, so the outline tracks the page live.
Searchable output
Scans become PDFs whose text you can select, copy and search.
How it works
- 1
Open the camera
Tap Open camera and allow access. The video stays in the tab — no frame is ever sent anywhere.
- 2
Let it find the page
Hold the page in view. Your device's GPU tracks the four corners live and captures automatically once the outline is steady.
- 3
Tidy each page
Tap a page to drag its corners, rotate it, or switch between Colour clean, Greyscale, Black & white and Whiteboard looks.
- 4
Export
Save a searchable PDF, a plain PDF, JPG or PNG images, plain text or a Word document. Multi-page scans keep the order you set.
Common questions
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. The camera stream, the edge detection, the perspective correction and the text recognition all run inside your browser tab on your own hardware.
Do I need an app?
No. This works in mobile Chrome, Safari and any modern browser. Add the site to your home screen if you want a one-tap shortcut.
What if my camera is blocked or I'm on a desktop?
Use the photo upload instead — the same detection, cropping, cleanup and export runs on photos already on your device.
Can I select the text afterwards?
Yes. Choose Searchable PDF and the recognised text is layered invisibly over each page, so you can select, copy and search it.
