Front and back, one page

Scan an ID card to PDF

Licences, Aadhaar, student cards and passes: capture both sides and get a single tidy PDF page ready to email or print. Because everything runs in your browser, the most sensitive document you own never gets uploaded.

Warming up the scanner…

Why scan here

Nothing leaves the phone

Contracts, IDs and receipts are processed in the tab — no upload, no account.

GPU page detection

Edges are found on your graphics chip, so the outline tracks the page live.

Searchable output

Scans become PDFs whose text you can select, copy and search.

How it works

  1. 1

    Capture the front

Place the card on a plain surface. The outline locks onto the card edges and captures once it is steady.

  2. 2

    Flip and capture the back

Shoot the second side the same way; it lands as page two in the tray.

  3. 3

    Keep 'one sheet' switched on

Both sides are stacked on a single A4 or Letter page, which is what most offices ask for.

  4. 4

    Save the PDF

Export straight away, or choose Searchable PDF so the card numbers can be selected and copied.

Common questions

Is it safe to scan an ID here?

Yes — this is the safest kind of ID scanner, because there is no upload at all. The camera frames, the cropping and the PDF are all built inside your browser tab and never reach a server.

Can I get both sides on one page?

Yes. Capture both sides and leave 'Put every page on one sheet' on; the front and back are centred one above the other on a single page.

What size is the output?

A4 by default, or US Letter if you switch the page size. The card keeps its real proportions inside that sheet.
